Directions to Huntsman Cottages
From Thirsk

Take the A170 towards Scarborough up Sutton Bank. Stay on this road for about 22 miles, it will take you through Helmsley, Beadlam, Norton and then Kirbymoorside. Approximately 5 miles past Kirbymoorside (2 miles before you get to Pickering) there is a left turn signposted Wrelton, Rosedale and Cropton, turn left here and follow the road round. Immediately after the pub on your left (The Buck Inn) turn left and you will see The Huntsman signpost about 4 Houses up on your left.

From Pickering

Take the A170 towards Thirsk, Stay on this road for approx 2 miles going through the villages of Middleton and Aisalby. As you come out of Aisalby you will see a right turn Signposted Wrelton, Rosedale and Cropton. Follow the road round for about half a mile before coming to a sharp right hand bend (you will see The Buck Inn opposite you), as you go round the bend you will see The Huntsman signpost about 4 houses up on your left.

As you can see there are two entrances to the village so if you miss your turning don`t worry there is another one just down the road, just remember to follow the opposite set of directions.
Getting Around
The 128 bus runs hourly through the village heading to Scarborough (via Pickering) to the East and Helmsley to the west. From Pickering you can take the coastliner bus to Malton and from there either the bus or train to York. The coastliner also runs from Pickering to Whitby. York, Whitby and Scarborough all have park and rides if you prefer not to take your car into the centre, there are also various taxi companies around the area.
